There was no shortage of excitement for Christmas this year – the kids could hardly wait!
The pandemic is still ever present, but we were able to have small gatherings, so Shannon’s parents were able to stay with us for a couple of days including Christmas Day. We’re fortunate that all of us are healthy and able to enjoy each other’s company this holiday. Skype calls allowed us to visit with family whom we couldn’t see in person.
This year, we had -20 to -30 degree weather throughout the holiday period and beyond, so we got to spend quality family time at home, building Lego, playing tag and hide and seek.
Everett was buzzing on a high in the days leading up to Christmas, and Sierra who is starting to learn to read is finding her own presents. We hosted Jingle our elf emissary and Santa and his reindeer were once again treated with a nice snack.
