Everett represents! Daddy and mom are very proud of our big bean now. He attends the same junior high school that daddy use to attend, and not only that, is doing very well in school winning a subject award this year and getting Honor with Distinction!
I knew parents were proud that their kids attended the same school as they did and I didn’t really think much about it. But now that Everett happens to be assigned to Eastview and that he is achieving success, I am extra proud.
I barely recognize Eastview. The hallways are narrower, lockers smaller, and stairwells that seemed so wide are now cramped. For some reason, my graduation class photo is the only one missing on the wall (Edwin’s is there), but there is a smidge of evidence that I attended there so long ago.
