Lately, Everett has been having a tough time coming back home from day home right before supper. He would get extremely whiny and he could not explain himself. Maybe he is really hungry and needs to eat right away. Maybe he is just extremely tired from playing all day. Probably it is a combination of both. In any case, he is completely inconsolable.
It seems to have happened often enough that Sierra recognizes what to do in this case, which is for Everett to go in the whining chair for a few minutes to get it out of his system. The whining chair is actually the change table in the closet where we can close the door any consider by himself for a few minutes. Sometimes even Everett says he wants to go to the whining chair. Usually in these cases, I think he is very tired because when we go to get him, he would be laying down curled up with his eyes closed.
