Piper Creek meanders behind our lot in between Bower Place and Southbrook subdivisions. It gives us an ever-changing scenery especially between the seasons. In the summer, the vegetation is lush and the deciduous trees actually fill out our windows with green leaves. In the autumn, everything turns orange, and in the winter Piper Creek freezes over and you can explore down on the ice.
I’ve never seen Piper Creek this swollen before. Granted, there has been a lot of snow late in the year probably explains the great melt this last week.
We took a walk down to the bridge and found the creek almost reaching the bottom of the bridge.
Sierra was shocked as Everett peered down the bridge and through pebbles into the stream. I had to keep a close eye on the Beans – the fast flowing water even made me nervous.
What a view!
