Everett got his cast taken off after about three weeks of wearing it. There was another boy, a couple years older, who had his cast removed first, so he had some prep as to what it entailed. Phil explained to Everett that it will be very loud, and Everett did great. He wasn’t too happy about not having his cast anymore however.
You can see him self-splinting his arm in this photo. He’s just gotten used to the cast that he didn’t feel comfortable without it, and said it hurt. So he got a splint, which he didn’t really have to use, but helped transition him off the cast.
But you know what? No more sucking the fingies!!! Ta-da, winner!
