We were up early and I caught the sunrise with both Beans today. It was really overcast in the morning and I didn’t expect to see very much, but on days like this, the clouds obscure the sun enough that you can actually see the red disk slowly rise into the sky.
This morning, we went to Opaekaa Falls, actually just a scenic point off the road, not dissimilar to seeing the Lighthouse from a distance.
Sierra was sleeping in the car, so she missed out 🙂
Then we went to Lydgate Beach and spent the rest of the day playing in the sand and water. We didn’t even get to the Kamalani playground.
It was a long day at the beach and both kids were out on the drive back. Everett kept sleeping even after I took him out of the car seat which was a first.
