Everett has been taking pleeano since Dec/Jan and just had his second recital. Daddy and Everett have been working on a song between the two of them, inspired by Paul Burton’s YouTube channel with his four year old, based on the piece Passacaglia by Handel.
After some twenty takes, different camera set ups, and bribing with many pieces of sweets, we present – “Everett and Daddy’s Song”
Everett also had his second recital in his life. This summer, the performance was at the retirement home where they had an out of tune upright. To be honest, Everett slacked off in terms of practicing and the parents were not as proactive in making sure he knew the songs. But he doesn’t have stage fright and seems to like going up there and playing for an audience, which is more than can be said for daddy nowadays!
