Like any kid, the Beans have become quite the artists. Being a teacher, Erin had a lot of great felt markers including the Mr. Sketches that smell like fruit. Face right up close to the paper, Sierra diligently scratches out grape scented blobs on her canvas. The sequelae of her smelling is evidenced by the purple on her face.
Everett unearthed an easel that he actually got for his birthday a while back. We set it up and did some chalk drawings. Everett drew some lines and then asked me to draw the Transformers. He would be so impressed at daddy’s renderings of Chase the Police Bot, Heatwave and Blades. We flipped the easel over and did some painting too. Everett can be seen here creating an impressionist version of Skye from Paw Patrol. Notice how the brush is dipped in both water cups and not the paint to achieve the desired effect.
