This past week (July 17-21/2017) Everett took his first swimming lessons. Daddy went for 4 days and Mommy only 1 since somebody had to look after Sierra.
He was a bit shy in the beginning but he soon became the star student being the first to try each skill and engaging with the instructor at every chance he had. Back floats, jumping in, red light -green light, fetching the toys from the bottom of the shallow end, and blowing bubbles were some of the activities Everett had fun doing. We have yet to master the art of putting our face in the water. This is the skill I had hoped he would learn from enrolling him in these lessons but it happened to be the only skill they did not work on! In the end, he passed his sea turtle level and is on to salamander. It was a fun week.
