Upon coming back from two years on Happy SEES, where we spent all our time together, back in Canada we slip back into North American routines. I witness just how normal it is to send the children off to school and not see them for half the day or more, and then it is chauffering them to activities where I’m more of a bystander rather than an active participant.
I came across a statistic saying that by the age of 12, 75% of all the time a parent would spend his child would have gone by which made me consider how I can create more of that time, and make it higher quality.
