We’ve visited the Kennedy Space Center a couple of times now, and I can say each visit has been awesome, super-inspiring. Space travel and exploration is the pinnacle of human ingenuity and achievement, being able to design vehicles to carry a person outside this cradle of life out into the harsh exposure of outer space.
It is incredible to remember that it was way back in 1969 when man set foot on the moon, and that our progress in space exploration had stalled since. But there is renewed interested with other countries launching rockets and looking at revisiting not just the moon, but Mars.
I hope these trips to the Space Center inspires our kids, and I can’t imagine what adventures we have during their generation.
