Our little girl has quickly learned to ride her bike. When it got warm enough to go outside, Sierra started off with Everett’s old Chase bike with the training wheels installed. She was really good with the balance bike, but this taught her how to pedal. The following day, she got the hang of going backwards to brake. She still had that habit of slowing down with her toes, wearing out her new shoes, but eventually she got it.
Then our neighbour lent us their kid’s old bike and after a couple of tries, she rode on her own, even learning to get started from a stand still all by herself! She’s a determined little girl, and she makes things happen. Either she doesn’t have time to waste, or she wants to keep up with her older brother, or both!
