Dear Sierra,
In the small time span between the beginning of our St. Vincent / St. Lucia trip to the end, you have become such a yu-yu. My little piggy has gotten over any fear of the water and learning from your brother and our friends traveling with us, you are now such the little swimmer! You should show maa-maa how to swim. When you were less than one, you wanted to swim with Everett at swimming lessons, but you were too little. You pointed to Everett in the pool from the side and said “Eh – seeming!” and you wanted to join in. Your first unparented swim lessons were tearful and you did not like Sam, but you have done so well in the Caribbean!
You started with “seem to mommy!” and “seem to daddy!” Then Tessa taught you how to use your arms which sped you up in the water a lot. At the beach, we counted how long you were able to tred water, and you could go longer than 20 seconds with those little legs. You are still too buoyant, but that does not stop you from trying to touch the bottom of the pool. You also don’t want to be left out and you love jumping into the deep end with your brother!
As our friends say, you definitely swim very well for such a little piggy!
