Dear See-wah,
My little See-wah is now a little pig, but also a Sea Otter. In the first unparented swim lesson, Piggy was kying the whole lesson. You were the smallest girl there, the other probably a year older, but mom and dad knew you could do it because we’ve been swimming with you and Everett since you were a baby! After a couple of lessons, we had to give some tough love and just let your teacher Sam take you. We’d hide behind the corner, and peek around pillars so you wouldn’t see us. And sure enough, you stopped kying and started to participate in the swimming lessons.
At home, you would say you didn’t like your teacher Sam, or make up another reason why you’d be crying, but eventually you found a friend at the swim class whom you splashed after (even though she wasn’t a good student, and didn’t listen to Sam), played the games and showed off all of your swimming skills!
Mom and dad could even sit across the pool, and you’d be ok, often waving to us saying “Hi!”
Remember when you were a little baby and you said, “Eh, seeming!” pointing at the pool when Everett was doing Sea Otter? You were just a little baby and were too little to swim, but you wanted so badly to go swimming with your brother.
Now you can!
