Leaving for work (or leaving the house for any reason) elicits kisses and hugs, followed by the little Beans watching us leave. As the weather is nice, they step out on to the step careful to avoid being run over by the car, to watch me or Shannon drive away.
Sometimes it’s all good and then they go back in the house to continue playing. Sierra is really sticking to mommy lately and sometimes she can’t get over being upset. Everett has always wanted to watch either through the door or the window and Sierra has adopted this in her brother’s footsteps.
I get sad leaving the Beans too going to work, but them seeing me off makes me happy because it reminds me that I have something to look forward to when I get back.
