Everett had two piano pieces lined up for his very first piano recital this weekend. While he know the pieces pretty well, I just wasn’t completely sure if he would decide just not to perform, or if he would just go up and enjoy himself. At the practice recital with a bunch of Ms. Bev’s other students, he didn’t want to play his second piece after doing the first one, and had to split up his program in two parts. At the real recital he was the fifth student up, so I think that helped in that he saw other kids go up, and excited for his turn. To make sure, I promised him a chocolate covered almond after his performance.
When he went up, some of the audience were surprised at such a little boy playing the piano, and especially with such strong fingers! Daddy is very proud of the Bean doing such a good job!
