Dark Light

When I’ve got the two kids crawling on top of me, usually carrying Sierra and then Everett climbing up on top of us at the same time, Everett says, “Now daddy’s happy!” He’d stay that because I’m holding on to them both. Then Everett would climb off, or I’d put Sierra down so that I’d only have one kid in my arms. Everett would say, “Now you’re a little happy!” Daddy is happy giving hugs to the two beans at the same time!

Here are some videos of the two Beans.

Sierra continues to be a great eater. She didn’t hesitate to pick up the fork and start using it to stab at food, and manages to do surprisingly well shoveling that food in to the mouth!

Next are the two kids out picking up some groceries.

On the way back from a walk / bike to the mall, we stopped off at the park. Sierra enjoyed the swing.

Everett begrudgingly shares his yogurt pop, not that he ended up finishing it, but because Sierra actually wanted it, and now with her pointer finger, she can communicate when she wants something.

We didn’t give Everett cake until his first birthday, but Sierra has acquired quite a sweet tooth already!

This past week, we noticed that Sierra is able to stand up on her own!

She still lacks confidence, but Everett is helping baby sister learn how to walk!
