After about two days of antibiotics, we seemed to have a new baby Sierra. She doesn’t cry right away when put down and manages to sit on her own for a few minutes. She couldn’t have had an ear infection for several months could she have?
We were out at the park and here is Sierra’s first swing. She wasn’t sure if she really liked it or not.
For Mother’s Day, Everett picked out a nice bouquet of flowers for mama. He liked the “pink and purple,” he says.
The Sheraton (our new favorite Sunday brunch spot) had a Mother’s Day special. Our friends Amber&Kyle, Jill&Evan along with their kids went too. The desserts were great, and Everett helped himself to several cookies, probably the most he’s had at any one sitting. Sierra was tired out and slept through the whole affair. We did attempt a couple photos to varying degrees of success at the end.
Sierra had her hand (and foot) at the piano this morning, while Everett tried to find middle C.
Sierra is not your smiley-est baby. Maybe it’s because of that ear infection, or maybe that’s just the way she is. But we did managed to coax a couple of good photos out of her.
