So I’ve started feeding Sierra solid food. She seems very eager to start eating solids. She tries to put everything in her mouth and reaches for our food when we are eating. She watches us diligently when we are eating so I decided she is old enough so it’s time to start.
At breakfast I made her some rice cereal. She was NOT having any of it! She would purse her lips closed very tightly and not let me put the spoon in her mouth. When I did manage to get some of the cereal past her lips she promptly spit it back out. She was not impressed. It appears as though she does not like the taste? I remember Everett always opened his mouth so willingly. He loved solid food.
On the other hand she loves rice crackers. She will try to eat as any as you let her. Most of it is just a big mess and goey and sticky everywhere but she loves it. I think she likes to feed herself. She so far does not like puree foods.
