We moved to Koloa Landing Resort yesterday, and checked into a huge, high end three bedroom condo. Waipouli Beach Resort was great, but this is definitely really posh. It’s amazing what paying almost twice a much would get you!
Anyways, we considered briefly giving up Everett’s room to save money, but figured we’d let Edwin and Everett have their separate bedrooms. It was funny too because we put Sierra’s pack and play in our walk in closet, but there was also another small little closet within our closet that she would have fit in as well.
The pool is really fancy, but our pool at the other rental may have been better because it was smaller and quieter. This one was colder, deeper and bigger. Everett was not allowed to ride the taller waterslide. While I tried to keep him away from the three smaller hot tubs because I knew he wouldn’t leave, he eventually found them and enjoyed floating around in warmth.
That evening, we attempted a dinner out. Wailea Beach Resort had a king crab and prime rib buffet. The dinner was ok. There was a lot of good food, but the king crab was on the dry side. Everett was reasonably good given the circumstances, but Sierra was awake the whole time and needed to be held so only one is us could eat at a time.
I picked up Edwin that night arriving from the airport. He’ll be joining us for the next week. His girlfriend wasn’t able to come and has a nice trip scheduled to Manitoba next week.
Here are some photos from this morning.
