Today Everett got to hang out with both mom and dad “shopping” in the morning. We had our winter tires scheduled for both cars so we dropped them off and walked over to the stores around the area.
He brought his puppy along whom he has named “Zuma” after the character on Paw Patrol. Putting him in the shopping cart, he’s got a toy car here and later proceeded to fill up the cart with rubber bouncy balls, naming the colors as he put the balls in.
We were in Chapters when Shannon’s water broke and I got a phone call reminding me I was scheduled to go into work to see two patients. Our cars were fortunately finished so we drove over the the hospital right away. Everett got to see dada “fang gong.” While I exteriorized two PD tubes, the nurses let Everett do some colouring and watch Paw Patrol on the computer.
We learned that Shannon was staying in the hospital with delivery of Beanie #2 imminent. I drove Everett home to be looked after by his grandparents. He didn’t make it home before he fell asleep in the car.
