Off to the spray park we go for a few hours of fun and sun. But first, we have to have some snacks. We roll up in our wagon ready to get out in the spray zone but we have to have a snack before we hit the water. This is one of Everett’s favorite things to do. He loves snacks. So we sit for 15 minutes and eat. When the bag is empty he usually starts looking for a box or 2 of raisins to polish off. He would eat snacks all day long if I would let him!
After the food is all finished we go play in the water until Everett starts shivering and wants to get out of his wet suit. He’s not a big fan of getting his face wet and will often avoid those areas altogether. When water sprays on his head he stops in his tracks, covers his wide open mouth with his hands and starts crying. It’s very funny. He hates water on his face. I think I need to get him into swimming lessons to get him over this. We still have lots of fun even though it takes him quite a few minutes before he warms up to the idea of getting all wet.
After he’s finished with the spray park he likes to be stripped down to his diaper and run around the grass in the sun. He will look for more snacks at this time as well. We have a good afternoon all in all and Daddy often meets us there after he is finished work.
