Everett is going on a drop in casual basis at his day home averaging once or twice a week. Here he sees a bunch of his girlfriends including Natalie (Na-ee), Brooke (Book) and Nora (No-wa). At first he hated it – when Shannon stepped in to the day home, his grip would tighten around Shannon’s arms and he’d have to be pried off screaming. Candice takes him to the back while Shannon, or I, would quickly leave. It seemed like once we were gone, he’d settle down, but the initial separation was painful. Fortunately, he is getting better and like going to day home more now.
On this particular day, Everett was out cold! We went in to pick Everett up and he was passed out on one couch with all the other kids sitting on the other couch. We’ve never seen this happen ever before!
