Tile and flooring, including countertop materials, have definitely been the most time consuming. It’s like choosing clothing: what material do you want, what pattern and design? A year into our build and the end is kind of near. I think we have all of our flooring chosen (though seeing the new lottery home gives us more expensive ideas each time) and we just need to buckle down and choose a slab of granite!
